We are working hard to scale-up the BRS


At the core of our system lies an innovative electrochemical device with a distinctive configuration and materiality. We chose this path to directly integrate it with renewable energy sources. Moreover, the core is synergistically combined with other auxiliary technologies, forming the Brine Recovery System (BRS).

We are under development. We have successfully validated the core at laboratory scale and simulated its interaction with the auxiliary technologies. Furthermore, we projected its integration into a desalination plant and assessed the environmental and economic impact of the coupled BRS system.

The global water desalination equipment market was valued at US$ 7.5 billion in 2022, with a projected growth to US$ 16.3 billion by 2031, at a CAGR of 8.9%.
Despite the significance of desalination, effective and sustainable solutions for brine disposal remain elusive. We not only address this gap but also offer a cost-effective solution, being environmentally friendly at the same time.

Absolutely, however, our focus extends beyond mere mining or extracting components from brines, a direction some other projects are taking. Our mission is to revolutionize desalination plants into carbon sequestration hubs and sustainable material production centers, all while eliminating brine discharge, decreasing consequently the environmental impact.

We don't intend to extract every precious element or develop a multitude of new technologies for that purpose. Our primary focus lies in ensuring the profitability of the desalination process by prioritizing simplicity, seamless implementation, and the robustness of Kendel BRS. We believe that this approach will drive adoption in desalination plants, making us their preferred choice.
